This updated version blends the original’s distinctive styling with current RC technology to deliver a fun, easy-to-use personal watercraft experience for today’s hobbyists.
The Wave Chopper 2.0 features a redesigned 1/6-scale hull equipped with an updated rudder, stern tube, and motor mount, all engineered to work seamlessly with modern electronics. A detailed rider figure is included, adding scale realism right out of the box.
Power comes from a water-cooled G14L brushed 550-size motor, paired with a high-capacity 60-amp KYOSHO SPEED HOUSE KA60-91W waterproof speed controller. This combination delivers responsive throttle control, strong acceleration, and efficient cooling for reliable performance on the water.
Built-in styrene flotation keeps the hull buoyant and virtually unsinkable, even if water enters the hull. With the hull and rider already assembled, setup is quick and simple—just install four AA batteries into the transmitter (sold separately), charge the included NiMH battery using the supplied charger, mount the rider figure, and you’re ready to hit the water.
Compact, complete, and full of character, the Wave Chopper 2.0 makes personal watercraft-style RC boating accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
