Product Descriptions
All the limited slip differentials in the GT L.S.D. Series were tested in actual battle in All Japan Grand Touring Championships. They were used during the 2002 season by the GT500 XANAVI NISMO GT-R and the GT300 Daishin Advan Silvia. They are currently favorites at the D1 Grand Prix, at tuning car races and at touring car endurance races such as the Super Taikyu. From street racing to circuit and drifting, you'll find an LSD to fit your needs here.
Basic Model: Fixed initial torque & internal pressureThe design standard for the initial torque output value is 8.0 kgf・m at the time of delivery. After the LSD is broken in and the plates are working well together, it will stabilize at 6.0 to 6.5 kgf・m.
20 large-diameter plates
Increasing the number of plates to 20 makes the shift from slip to lock dramatically smoother. The diameter of the plates themselves, which are the actual slipping faces of the LSD, was augmented 55% over existing models. The result is a decreased load on each sliding face for a 30% gain in durability.
Plate tooth design: the greatest tooth surface for the hightest power efficiency
The plates have 16 outside teeth which pick up the power input from the engine and eight interior teeth handle input from the road. The case and side gear, which catch and hold the plate gears, have been set with ultimate precision, giving you a large-diameter-plate LSD that completely controls slip judder. You will get stable, smooth, effective power and improved durability.
Possibility of conversion between 2-WAY & 1.5-WAY
Both 2-WAY and 1.5-WAY setups are available for purchase. By machining the pressure ring's cam angles, it is possible to convert between 2-WAY & 1.5-WAY after purchase (this will also require a unit overhaul).
*With the 2-WAY, the LSD is effective whether accelerating or not.
*With a 1.5-WAY, the LSD is effective only during acceleration.
*For R35, 1.5-WAY is not recommended due to its vehicle characteristics.
Special treatment for highest-quality plates
A special heat treatment developed exclusively by NISMO is applied to all of the plate surfaces. This finish eliminates catching during slippage and ensures a smooth, linear operation. It keeps the plates working in harmony when they are first broken in, guarding against plate scorching as well as any loss of initial torque.
High level of control
The GT L.S.D. brings you more than just strength and efficiency. It also reduces power loss from occurring during time trials and provides the solid traction needed to attain higher cornering speeds. All of this will give you better angle control when drifting.

Remark
Please be sure to install the LSD.
Please make sure that the engine and transaxle of the current car are not changed, please order.
As a general rule, special processing is unnecessary at installation (JAF numbered vehicle, N1 race vehicle regulation conformity)
Unless otherwise noted, please use Nissan genuine parts with ring gear bolts and side flanges installed as standard.
When installing LSD, we recommend that you replace ring gear bolts, side bearings, oil seals, gaskets, etc. with new ones. In the case of L. S. D. that comes with a mounting kit, please use that.
L.S.D. After installation, cornering characteristic. Considerably change does therefore please note.
In order to attach good parts around each part and each plate inside the L.SD, after mounting, traveling at an unreasonable speed at an urban area or a winding road (in case of a car with a number) of 500 to 600 km, Please do "break in". Also, please be sure to change the differential oil after "break in" (at least 200 - 300 km please go).
NISMO L.S.D. has a high initial torque setting (the lock ratio is high), so dragging noise of driving wheels and chattering noise inside the differential will occur during normal cornering on high road surface. Please use NISMO COMPETITION OIL type 2189E (75W 140) (Rear L.S.D. product number: KLD75-RS421) to prevent these abnormal noise and deterioration of each plate kind.
9 If each plate wears and the L. S. D. function deteriorates, replace the deteriorated plate with a new one with an overhaul disk kit and adjust it to the standard initial torque. However, it may not be possible to adjust to the standard initial torque due to wear of the differential case and the pressure ring.10 If the initial torque is significantly increased from the standard value, it will lead to breakage of power train system parts and deterioration of handling, so please use the standard initial torque for vehicles that mainly drive general public roads.

Engaging Read for Beginners and Techies Alike
Format: Paperback
An engaging and accessible exploration of how computers really work. The author breaks down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations, making topics like binary, logic gates, and basic circuits far less intimidating. For newcomers, it’s a great way to build a foundational understanding of computer theory with just a touch of electrical engineering. As someone with a technical background, I still found it entertaining; the examples and analogies added fresh ways to frame ideas I already knew. It’s the kind of book that can bridge the gap between “I use computers” and “I understand what’s happening under the hood.” Highly recommended for anyone curious about what makes hardware and software tick, whether you’re starting from scratch or just want a new perspective.

CODE is the book you should get.
Format: Paperback
The best book to enter the field. Grateful that Charles Petzold decided to write it, even happier this was one of the first books I picked up. Recommend to everyone wanting to become a programmer, or just interested in computers.

If you only buy one technical computer book, this is it
Format: Paperback
Disclaimer: I owned the first edition for years and read it a dozen times, mainly for pleasure since it’s not only informative but also just enjoyable to read. I’m a professional software architect and have dozens of textbooks on computer science and engineering so I’ve been around the block. This is the kind of book I would buy all for all my friends (if I had more than a couple) and family members (if they were even slightly into computers, which they aren’t sadly). Petzold does an exceptional job at describing digital logic and guides you through building a conceptual CPU from very first principles. I think his bottom up approach is the way to go and has helped me understand complex topics in an extremely simple way. When I’m not reading fiction, this is my go to bedtime reading. The second edition has about 100 more pages than the first and some content has been completely reworked and it’s great. If you ever had even a passing interest in knowing how computers work at a very fundamental level, get this book!

First programmer?
Format: Paperback
As an ardent reader of the past 1st edition, I was fairly excited to get the latest version. That is, until I encountered the history chapter of the new edition. For one thing, what I do NOT understand in this second edition is the newly added description of August Ada Byron (countless of Lovelace). The author claims it was Babbage who was the first programmer to design the engines, not Ada. I am not trying to start a futile argument here about who has more or fewer contributions, etc. What I am trying to assert here is that it is undisputed that Ada (unless the new evidence arises) left *the very first demonstration* of what this seemingly imaginary machine, which didn't even physically exist, was capable of through her program. Because Babbage designed the engine itself, that doesn't automatically put him in the position of a programmer (despite Babbage being a brilliant engineer/scientist and may have had a simple or detailed program in his mind). However, it was Ada who gave a definite touch to programming concepts that ultimately led to modern-day programming. Ada deserves more recognition than a mere "tutorial writer," and she is certainly entitled to the title she deserves. Other than that, like the previous edition, this book is a must-read for people who are from related/unrelated fields. I always loved the 1st edition, and I would do too with the 2nd. Still, I think history should always be approached with more care, particularly if matters have potential controversies.

One of the few books worth your time
Format: Paperback
If you want to learn computers, start here. Learning from a historical perspective removes complexity of trying to start with say GPUs - you learn just like computer engineers did, incrementally.
