Beeswax from our local Melbourne Bees

Size: 10 x 8cm had rolled, dipped beeswax wick with printed belly band.

Burn Time: 30+ hours approx

When we extract honey, we cut off the wax caps from each honeycomb cell with an uncapping knife. Its colour varies from nearly white but most often a shade of golden yellow. We simply drain, melt it and filter it with cloth. The wax is taken to an extruder and we swap wax blocks in exchange for sheets of our own beeswax pressed into foundation sheets. These foundations are used in our hives as well as to make candles out of.

Beekeepers have made candles for centuries, you'll find in lots of books on all the various methods including the use of foundation sheets. They make great pillar candles, so we thought we'd share.

Burning your candle

Remove the belly band label and place on heat and flame resistant holder, keep your candle away from drafts or winds - you'll get even and maximum burn time that way, Trim wick to approx 6-7mm before each burn.

A little about Beeswax

The wax is formed by worker bees, which secrete it from eight wax-producing mirror glands on the inner sides of their abdominal segments. Honey bees use the beeswax to build honeycomb cells in which their young are raised with honey and pollen cells being capped for storage. To produce their wax, bees must consume 4kg of honey to make 450g of beeswax. It's pretty special!

There are many uses for Beeswax from cosmetics to craft, candles and furniture polish.. the list goes on.

Pretty good for the price.
Set name: Sublimation Printer
So far so good. I have been producing a fair amount of items to date. My only wish was that the colors were more vibrant with this printer and it's ink.

Reliable Heat Tape That Works Perfectly – No Residue and Great Value!
Number of Items: 4
I bought the MEBMIK heat tape for my heat press projects, and it’s been fantastic so far. The tape holds up well under high temperatures without melting or peeling, which is exactly what I needed for heat sublimation and vinyl pressing. What really impressed me is that it leaves no sticky residue on my materials, so I don’t have to worry about ruining my projects or cleaning up afterward. The tape is also easy to tear by hand and sticks firmly during pressing. With 4 rolls included, this pack gives me plenty of tape for all my projects, and the price is great compared to buying smaller amounts elsewhere. If you’re doing heat press work and need reliable, heat-resistant tape, this is a great choice.

Best sublimation tape
Number of Items: 4
This is the best sublimation heat tape I have found. I started buying bigger rolls of it as I bought these smaller rolls when I first started. Stick and hold good works well
