6 x Akarua 'Rua' Central Otago Pinot Noir 2020

Bright cherry colour in the glass. An abundance of bright red fruits, and lifted floral aromas, with a touch of savouriness. This Central Otago Pinot Noir is lavishly layered with sweet, ripe, red berries, underpinned with savoury characters and a touch of spice. Supple tannins flow softly across the palate. These are balanced by the wines acidity, leading to a long fruit driven finish. A style that has been deliberately made to drink as a young fresh red.

100% French oak barrel maturation for 7 months. 10% new with the balance in older wood.

1 x Akarua 'Rua' Central Otago Pinot Noir 2018 Magnum 1.5L

Awarded Gold Medal: China Wine & Spirit Awards 2019

Beautiful red tones of raspberry and black cherry in the glass. This wine boasts an exquisite, lifted nose of strawberries, raspberries and violets on opening, followed by darker notes of black cherry, roasted star anise and cinnamon. Elegantly structured palate, layered with earth and brambles within a picture frame of finely-drawn tannins and bright acidity. A perfect and accessible snapshot of Central Otago.

Sourced from Central Otago vineyards with grapes harvested in their optimal condition. The grapes were transported to the winery and fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel tanks to ensure the fresh fruit flavours were preserved.  The resulting wine is bursting with pure flavours of poached pear, and honeyed quince with a hint of spice leading to a lingering succulent finish. Pleasing to the palate now and will also remain in its prime for the next 2-3 years.

Alc: 13.5%

The Air & Space Museum is a national treasure.
Format: Hardcover
This is one of those books that makes you wish you were there. Lots of pictures and tidbits of information. A good quality book physically as well. We get their magazine and this is one of many books we have both from and about the museum. Highly Recommended.

Great photo essay, history of aviation and space
i'm an engineer- worked rocket motors, and various satellite programs. this book was recommended by associate after visiting the museum at Langley. The pics are super, with short descriptions, and moderate on the tech. It's an amazing pulse of this wild history, and mostly is from America's lineage. St. Louis, Mercury, Atlas, and up to current Shuttle. There's also the SST, and unique turn of the century early birds. A fine read to be shared with a youngster (my son 10, digs it), or for the history or engineering buff. amazon has it cheaper than at the museum.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).

Simple and streamlined to meet anyone's needs
Format: Paperback
This book rocks! It provide a simple and structured way to define, develop and deliver a "Kick Ass" presentation that you can project or just use from the podium. It bring the audio and visual together to compliment a story to be shared. It has taken the hassel factor out of designing a presentation for anyone on any subject. Thank you!
