The RG-S5310-24GT4XS-PE switches support various ARP anti-spoofing modes. Whether users obtain addresses automatically through a DHCP server or use fixed IP addresses, the RG-S5300-E Series can record users' actual IP + MAC addresses. The port receives the ARP packet sent by the host, compares the contents of the ARP packet with the recorded IP + MAC address, and forwards the ARP packet with only the actual contents and discards the fake ARP packet. This way, network users are protected from ARP virus attacks.
