The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to the Brothers Grimm is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work on German and European folktales, among which are some of the most famous fairy tales such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty". The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick, while the black color resembles the darkness of the woods which usually serve as the main stage for the Brothers Grimm’s folklore. In addition, the wave-like pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel’s hair while also resembling roots, since the Brothers Grimm viewed their linguistic work as "research into roots". The cap is crowned by the Montblanc Emblem in precious resin. The platinum-coated clip, reminiscent of a knobby piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the silhouette of the profile of the Brothers Grimm when turned. As an homage to the magic of storytelling, the handcrafted 18K solid gold nib with rhodium coating bears the flames of a fire, which was often the setting where folklore stories were passed on.

Great product

I have a very active, medium sized dog (heeler). I wish this product was just a little bigger but it is still a great product. I fill it with pureed meat baby food and freeze. A 2.5oz jar will fill this product about 2 times. This keeps my dog busy for a while. Its also great when she's outside on a hot day. I absolutely recommend this product and at such a great price ($6 when I purchased it) i may buy a few more so I'll always have a frozen one ready when needed.

Extra durable and hard

Much harder and tougher than most of the chews and bones I get. Too tough for my own dog, but it’s become a favorite of two other dogs in my life who are stronger chewers. Also looks adorable when they carry it around.

Terrific! Much easier to use than Kongs and my dog loves it.

I like these so much better than the original Kongs. The large opening makes it so much easier to put peanut butter or cream cheese into it. Plus much easier to clean out afterwards.
My dog also likes to chew it and play with it throwing it in the air after he’s done eating the peanut butter. Very sturdy - he chews apart stuffed toys but his chewing hasn’t damaged this at all.
I highly recommend this product!
