Cambridge Audio Solo Phono Preamplifier: Elevate Your Vinyl Listening Experience

Rediscover the rich, warm tones of your vinyl collection with the Cambridge Audio Solo Phono Preamplifier. Specifically engineered for moving magnet (MM) cartridges, the Solo ensures every nuance of your records is faithfully reproduced, delivering an authentic analog sound that captivates audiophiles and casual listeners alike.

Key Features

  • Exceptional Sound Quality: The Solo utilizes a state-of-the-art switch-mode power supply and surface-mount technology to minimize noise and distortion, allowing the purest reproduction of your vinyl's audio.
  • Subsonic Filter: Effectively eliminates low-frequency rumbles caused by vinyl imperfections, preserving the integrity of your music and protecting your speakers.
  • Balance Control: Adjusts for potential cartridge imbalances, ensuring a precise and immersive stereo soundstage.
  • Eco-Friendly Design: With less than 0.5W standby power consumption and an auto power-down feature after 20 minutes of inactivity, the Solo is as environmentally conscious as it is sonically impressive.

Why Choose the Cambridge Audio Solo?

Not all amplifiers are equipped to handle the delicate signals from a turntable. The Solo bridges this gap, amplifying the low-level output from your MM cartridge to line-level, making it compatible with a wide range of audio systems. Its meticulous design and high-quality components ensure that the warmth and detail inherent in vinyl recordings are preserved, offering a listening experience that digital formats often can't match.

Used Watch?
Color: Black/Gray/Digital
The watch is great but the watch had been worn. The protective film was removed and it was loose in the watch box and not on the plastic holder. I bought a new watch not a used one. Joe

My last Timex and why.
Color: Black/Gray/Digital, Color: Black/Gray/Digital
New edit. Upon further reflection, I’ve only had, a couple of exploratory years with Swatch excepted, Timex watches. My first one was when my mother replaced the Chicita Banana “tickity tock” sticker with a real Timex wind up watch before my first Cub Scout camp. In addition to many other Timex products, I’ve had these Ironman watches for the past 25+years. Usually the band wears out and can’t be replaced after three or four years. This particular watch fell apart less than six weeks old. It wasn’t hit by impact. It just came apart while I was driving down the road. I wonder if they’ve changed their manufacturing process. See photo for details. What is truly infuriating is that rather than replacing it, because it is truly a warranty issue, the told me to ship it to their offshore repair facility (which could take 3-5 months) and pay what might be half the value of the watch. Things happen, but the intentional friction they have created to avoid their obligations borders on malpractice and speaks to their indifference toward customer experience and subsequent lifetime value.
