A glass of quiet gratitude and tender craft, the Edo Kiriko Handcrafted Crane Feather Whisky Glass renders a single, intricately etched crane feather — the most beloved symbol of selfless giving in Japanese folklore — into hand-cut crystal. The deep amber body holds the warm glow of late afternoon, evoking the moment a returning crane is glimpsed against the setting sun.

Wooden Gift Box Included: Presented in a wooden gift box, this premium whisky glass is ready for gifting, collecting, or display in a refined home bar. The box adds a more complete presentation for whisky lovers, anniversaries, groomsmen gifts, housewarmings, and special occasions.

Tsuru no Ongaeshi (鶴の恩返し) — The Crane's Gratitude

In one of the most cherished folktales of Japanese tradition, a poor man saves a wounded crane he finds in the snow. The next day, a quiet young woman arrives at his home and offers to weave him cloth. Each night she works behind a closed door, asking only that he never look inside. The cloth she creates is more beautiful than any in the kingdom. When the man finally breaks his promise and looks in, he discovers the truth: the woman is the crane he saved, weaving the cloth from her own feathers. She returns to her crane form and flies away — leaving behind a final, finest weaving. Tsuru no Ongaeshi (鶴の恩返し) is the story of gratitude expressed at personal cost, of the most precious gifts that arrive quietly. To carry the crane feather is to carry this lineage: the recognition that the finest gifts are given, not announced.

Amber — The Color of Late Afternoon

The deep amber color of this glass holds the warm glow of late afternoon sun — the hour when wandering cranes return to their resting waters, when the world slows toward evening. The color is achieved through the traditional kise (被せ) overlay technique: a thin layer of amber-tinted crystal is fused over a clear crystal core, then hand-cut to reveal flashes of brightness beneath. The interplay of warm color and crystal clarity gives the feather pattern its quiet luminosity.

Hand-Cut Through Patient Tradition

Every line of the feather motif is shaped by hand against a spinning wheel through tens of thousands of careful strokes. The artisan's touch produces the delicate textured detail that gives the feather its sense of softness — quite an achievement in a medium as unforgiving as crystal. The lead-free crystal carries its 300 g weight with grounded refinement — solid in the hand, balanced for unhurried sipping.

Perfect For

Single Malt Scotch, Bourbon, Japanese whisky, and any aged spirit served neat or on the rocks. A particularly meaningful gift for expressing gratitude — to a mentor who shaped your career, to a parent who carried you, to a friend who showed up in difficult years, to a partner whose quiet generosity has built your life. Also a thoughtful gesture for retirement, professional thank-you gifts, doctors who saved a life, teachers who changed a path, or any occasion that asks for the soft language of appreciation rather than the loud language of celebration. A glass for the moment when "thank you" alone is not enough.

This is the best purchase I’ve made in 2025!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
I don’t even know where to start ever since I finished (in early August, 2025) the whole series of this comic. I have never been this much speechless in my life. It’s my first comic that I’ve ever read and finished it. I got into invincible through the TV show and I wanted to give a shot on comics because people said it’s even better than the show, and I was blown away just by the tv show until I started reading this. It didn’t matter how tired I would be and/or how busy I would be, but I’d still make time to grab and read at least some pages very excited. There are so many parts in this comics where it reflected on my personal life and somewhat opened my eyes of what I had and need to do in my life. It was really fun, exciting, loving, caring, sad and emotional story. This comic has a definitive beginning and a final, conclusive ending. I loved it overall despite where there were some boring parts, but it all made sense later in the main story. Very well developed characters, stories and art. Now whenever I pass by my bookshelf and I see these books puts big fat huge smile on my face. I’m glad I have it in my collection. I got to experience in this comic what I couldn’t in real life. Every other night in random or toughest moment I would think about what would mark do in this situation. Thank you for this masterpiece ❤️

Amazing story, just don’t buy from amazon
Format: Paperback
Don’t buy these from Amazon. The book is obviously great, but Amazon likes to just throw these into bubble mailers (or even just brown paper bags) and then send them off. No shrink wrap, no padding. Just a big book rattling around loosely in a bag. It will come dented and dinged 100% of the time. Just buy from a comic book shop or eBay seller who actually cares enough to package properly. The content of the book itself is fantastic though. I love this story so far and can’t believe I took so long to get into it. It has such a classic superhero feel while also subverting the genre in so many cool ways. Robert Kirkman can’t miss!

Love it even though it's heavy af
Format: Paperback
Great book beautiful full color images. My only issue is that it's heavy the thing is a wrist breaker. Better read it at a table. But the story is great love it.
