With a filter life of up to six months, it effectively enhances the taste of water by reducing undesirable chlorine taste and odor (CTO), sediment, and scale. Engineered with an exclusive Progressive Porosity Process, the cartridge efficiently entraps larger sediment particles at its outer layer and progressively smaller particles toward its core, ensuring even loading and maximum cartridge life. Its unique square-grooved surface increases sediment-trapping capacity, offering more efficient filtration than traditional string-wound or pleated paper cartridges.
This robust cartridge can handle flow rates of up to 3 gallons per minute (11.4 liters per minute) and operates efficiently within a temperature range of 4.4°C to 76.7°C (40°F to 170°F). With a maximum operating temperature of 76.7°C (170°F) and a micron rating of 5 μm, it provides reliable filtration under varying conditions. Its sturdy construction withstands fluctuations in water pressure, offering long-lasting durability.
The Aqua-Pure™ APS117 Filter Cartridge has a compact design with an overall diameter of 3 inches (7.62 cm) and a height of 9.81 inches (24.92 cm).
