COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Business Analytics in Organisations course. This program will equip you with the skills and knowledge to understand what business analytics (BA) is, how it operates as an integrated information system, and how it can be used to drive better decisions and performance across an organisation. Throughout this course, you will learn how to connect data, analysis, and action so that analytics moves from isolated reports to a disciplined way of steering strategy, operations, and improvement.

This course begins by clarifying what business analytics means and what a BA solution consists of as an information system. It introduces the business analytics model, examines how strategy creation in BA links to business processes and information use, and explains the different types of reporting and analytical processes that organisations rely on. It also explores key data sources from IT operations and development, and shows how the BA model is deployed so that data is collected, transformed, and delivered in forms that decision-makers can actually use.

The course then explores how business analytics is anchored in organisational strategy, structure, and day-to-day activity. It examines how BA must reflect the overall strategic targets of the business and how functional strategy and the business case for analytics shape priorities and investments. It explains how business processes and actions are connected to analytical processes and front-ends, and how data warehouses provide a stable platform for integrated information. It also considers how to evaluate the BA process and what is required to establish successful BA capabilities that remain relevant and valuable over time.

Attention then turns to the role of business analytics at the strategic level and the way it supports decision-making across the organisation. It explains how BA operates at the strategic level, the link between strategy and the deployment of BA, and how analytics supports strategy at a functional level while maintaining alignment with corporate direction. It also explores the relationships between strategic and functional levels, the five requirements for targets, the requirements for benchmarks, and the ongoing dialogue between strategy and BA functions. In addition, it examines feedback processes and learning at the strategic level so analytics routinely feeds into review, adjustment, and organisational learning.

The course then examines information as a strategic resource and how business analytics supports different routes to market leadership. It explains how information can be treated as a core strategic asset, and introduces the three disciplines for market leadership: product and innovation, customer relations, and operational excellence. It explores how BA supports each of these perspectives by providing insight into products and services, customer behaviour and value, and process performance and efficiency. It also considers business analytics in the future and uses the concept of the information wheel to show how data, analysis, decisions, and results can be linked in a continuous improvement cycle.

By the end of this course, you will be able to explain what business analytics is, describe the components of a BA information system, and outline how the BA model is deployed in practice. You will understand how to link analytics to strategic targets, functional strategies, business processes, and data warehouses, and how to set targets and benchmarks that drive meaningful performance. Most importantly, you will be equipped to view information as a strategic resource, position BA as a central support for innovation, customer relationships, and operational excellence, and contribute to building analytics capabilities that help your organisation learn, adapt, and compete more effectively.

Works really well
I’ve been using after showering post tan. I’m currently tanning every day. It is super hydrating, and smells really good. I have been tanning quicker. Either way, it’s a great product!

Smells wonderful
I'm not sure how to judge if it is actually extending my tan. However, I do love the scent and texture.

Good lotion, doesn't smell great.
Lotion feels nice on the skin and is fairly moisturizing. The scent leaves something to be desired. I was hoping it would smell more beachy or vacation-esque, but the scent is light and slightly pungent.

No bad tanning lotion
I love how hydrating this product is but I’m not sure if it really helped with my tan. It does have a very subtle smell and the ingredients seem to be relatively good
