Cometic MLS gaskets are constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, allowing them to withstand extreme cylinder pressures while maintaining excellent rebound characteristics. The outer layers are coated with Viton®, a heat-resistant fluoroelastomer that resists corrosion and seals reliably under harsh operating conditions.
