Balboa is, along with the United States dollar, one of the official currencies of Panama. It is named in honor of the Spanish explorer / conquistador Vasco Núñez de Balboa. The balboa is subdivided into 100 centésimos.

Vasco Núñez de Balboa (c. 1475 – around January 12–21, 1519) was a Spanish explorer, governor, and conquistador. He is best known for having crossed the Isthmus of Panama to the Pacific Ocean in 1513, becoming the first European to lead an expedition to have seen or reached the Pacific from the New World.

Worked like a charm! 😎 It’s a small detail, but it will keep everything neat, and prevent unwanted glitter explosions in the future. If you’re a sparkle lover, you’ll adore this glitter—it’s as pretty in person as it looks online!
