This delightful, natural processed, fruit forward bean comes from the Cyesha Region of Rwanda. The Cyesha Region is extra special because of the volcanic soil, high altitude and wind flow from the surrounding lakes. These conditions lend to a moderately acidic bean with delicious fruit notes. The name Sozi Bisoke comes from the Kinyarwanda word for mountain, "Sozi" and Mount Bisoke, located in the Cyesha Region. We decided to do a medium roast on these beans to highlight the fruit notes while also offering a mild boldness
