COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Effective Leadership & Team Building course. This program will equip you with the leadership capabilities, interpersonal skills, motivational strategies, and team-building techniques required to guide individuals and groups toward high performance. You will explore what makes leadership effective, how leaders motivate and develop others, and how strong teams contribute to organisational success. This course also examines practical communication skills, performance improvement methods, and structured approaches to building cohesive, high-performing teams.

This course begins by exploring the importance of effective leadership and why planning is essential for leaders who want to succeed. You will examine how effective and ineffective leadership are determined, and why effective leaders focus on their followers in order to understand their needs, potential, and challenges. This section defines what constitutes effective leadership and introduces various leadership styles, highlighting how strong leaders adapt their approach based on context and follower capability. You will explore how effective leaders put their followers’ work into context, develop them professionally, and provide appropriate support. This area also discusses how effective leaders motivate staff, how motivation is linked to responsibility, achievement, and autonomy, and the strategies leaders can use to inspire and energise their followers.

The next learning area focuses on communication, feedback, and relational leadership behaviours. You will explore how leaders promote effective feedback, show flexibility in their style, and demonstrate consistent support. This section examines how effective leaders delegate, allow risk-taking, generate high expectations, provide goals, and acknowledge achievement. You will also explore how leaders use questioning effectively, how they establish strong relationships with followers, and how they develop them through meaningful interactions. This area introduces key strategies for ensuring leaders have effective conversations with followers and others.

A further learning area examines listening as a core leadership competency. You will explore how effective leaders use active listening, why active listening can be difficult, and how to identify poor listening habits. This section introduces the six categories of listening and outlines techniques for becoming a better listener. You will also explore how strong listening skills build trust, support collaboration, and enable leaders to understand the issues and emotions behind team behaviour.

The program then turns to creativity, problem-solving, and prioritisation in leadership. You will explore how effective leaders increase individual and group creativity and the benefits of the group discovery technique (GDT) in generating ideas. This section also examines how leaders prioritise workflows and why question combinations are powerful tools for encouraging deeper thinking. You will explore the ‘Why not?’/‘How?’ combination, the ‘Why?’/‘Why?’ sequence, the ‘How?’/‘How?’ technique, the ‘What?’/‘How?’ approach, and the ‘What?’/‘Why?’ pairing—each designed to generate insight, challenge assumptions, and stimulate innovation.

The next learning area focuses on performance improvement. You will explore how effective leaders improve staff performance by defining goals clearly, setting SMART objectives, and determining the activities required to achieve results. This section also examines how leaders deal with unimportant or trivial work, how they monitor follower performance, and when they should take corrective action. You will learn how constructive accountability strengthens both individual capability and team outcomes.

The final learning area focuses on team building and the creation of high-performance cultures. You will explore how effective leaders build teams and why a strong team is one of the most powerful ways to develop individuals and maximise business performance. This section reviews key strategies for building high-performance teams, including establishing trust, promoting role clarity, encouraging collaboration, and using structured processes to support feedback. You will also explore how effective leaders develop team vision and values and why the leader’s key role is to coordinate the process rather than control people—reinforcing empowerment, ownership, and shared commitment.

By the end of this course you will be able to apply effective leadership practices, motivate and develop staff, communicate with clarity, listen actively, build creativity and innovation, prioritise workflows, improve performance, and build strong, cohesive teams that elevate organisational success.

This bunny honestly is the best dog toy. It is adorable and durable at the same time. I like toys for my dogs that are cute but most of all can honestly stand up to the challenge of hours of play. It has become my dogs favorite toy very quickly and is holding up beautifully. Get your dog this they will love it. This toy is so cool that I have purchase a couple to give to my friends for their dogs.

Amazing!
Style: Bunny
This bunny toy is adorable and a big hit with my dog! The no stuffing design means no mess, and the squeaker keeps her engaged without being obnoxious. It’s soft but sturdy enough for tugging and chewing, and the size works well even for bigger dogs. Great quality for the price will definitely buy another style.

Keeps them happy.
Style: Bunny
The interactive aspect is perfect: I squeak it to get her attention for fetch, she enjoys a solo dental chew session gnawing on the durable ears and body, and then we play tug-of-war with the long rope legs. It satisfies all her instincts in one cute, bunny-shaped package. The material is soft on her gums but tough enough to withstand serious chewing. Her teeth look cleaner and she's happily worn out. Total win!

Stuffless dog toy! Good buy 😊
Style: Bunny
My dog loves to tear her toys apart usually it’s to get all of the stuffing out. Lol so we decided to try some toys without the stuffing and this was definitely a good buy. She loves it. Very soft and she has not ruined it in almost 3 months. Very cute toy and happy with the company would buy again. Quality is very strong for a dog that tears toys up in a day. lol🤣
