On August 7, 2022 I found myself captivated by the various shapes and shadows of the moon reflected in the water. As I focused my lens on the shiny surface, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the beauty of it all. When I finally sat down to review the resulting photograph on my computer, I was struck by the stunning image before me.

The reflection of the moon seemed to dance across the surface of the water, creating a mesmerizing and surreal scene that you simply couldn't take your eyes off. As I looked at the image, I couldn't help but think of the old tale of Snow White and the famous line uttered by the wicked queen, "mirror, mirror on the wall, who is fairest of all?" At that moment, it was as if the moon itself asked the water to reveal its beauty, to show who was the most beautiful of all.

This incredible photo was taken at the Mantua Reservoir on a cool, calm summer day, and I am so grateful to have been able to capture such a magical moment in time.
