Shimano’s new SVS Infinity Braking System provides easy-to-manage spool control and consistent braking force for vastly improved casting - especially with lighter lures. The external adjustment dial is also located in a more convenient position (on the bottom, left side of reel) for fast, one-handed operation.

Equipped with Shimano’s new Micro Module Gear System as well, the new system utilizes smaller teeth and more of them to provide more contact points between the drive gear and pinion gear.
