HOW WE USE THEM SAFELY

Our eight week old puppy was getting hard to hold without her trying to chew your fingers off. My husband found these bones at a pet store. My little puppy and my five year-old Yorkie both love them so much that I knew we were going to need more right away. I ordered three packs from Amazon. As I was ordering them, I was reading the reviews and I always head straight to the one star reviews first. After seeing how many people had problems with their dogs, choking or pieces of the bones breaking off it made me a little nervous. So instead of letting either dog just run off and chew on the bone alone, whenever I’m just sitting doing nothing anyway, I will hold the bone and the dog in my lap and let them chew away so that they are not unsupervised. It has worked great for both my five-year-old Yorkie and my little eight week old pup! It has really helped my pup not chew my fingers as well! I think it has really soothed her little gums. Plus, it seems to help build a connection with both dogs. Since I’m holding the bone it’s providing them with something they enjoy and it’s coming from me.
