Simpson Strong-Tie CSD25212 Installation Overview

  1. Drill a 1/4" diameter hole to the specified depth.
  2. Blow clean the hole using compressed air.
  3. Position the fixture and insert the anchor through the fixture hole.
  4. Drive the anchor until the head is flush against the fixture.

Pros:boots were extremely light and comfortable. Cons: if you work in rocky areas like northern California you will only get 1/2-1 season on these. Mine lasted 6 months then the fabric ripped, the soles had holes all the way through to the middle, and the tread wore down til they were smooth slick rubber. If they cost $150-$175 I'd buy 2 pairs a season but at over $300 a pair there are much better options
