Thick glass walls are just over 1 8 inch in thickness. This slide features an opaque jade color, hence the name "Jade". Additional feature is the open end, for those guitarists who appreciate the traditional open ended slides. This guitar slide comes in both 7 8" and 3 4" internal diameter
