Explore the tumultuous world of "Virgin Queen: Wars of Religion 1559-1598," a grand strategy game for two to six players that plunges you into the heart of Europe's religious and political conflicts during the reigns of Elizabeth I of England and Philip II of Spain. In this epic struggle, players control one or more of the major powers vying for dominance. Spain, bolstered by its vast empire, stands as a formidable force, yet it faces countless threats-from the Ottoman Empire’s expansion to English privateers and Protestant uprisings in the Netherlands.

"Virgin Queen" is the sequel to the acclaimed "Here I Stand," continuing the saga of European power struggles. This game introduces refined mechanics that mirror the shifting dynamics of the late 16th century, such as streamlined religious conversions, direct player control over oceanic expeditions, and a new diplomatic influence system. Marriages between royal families add a unique layer of strategy, while espionage and patronage open up new paths to victory.

Whether you're forging alliances, orchestrating royal marriages, or sending spies to foreign courts, every decision in "Virgin Queen" is steeped in historical tension. Will you secure the support of Catholic allies or navigate the dangerous waters of espionage? The fate of Europe is in your hands. Immerse yourself in this rich historical experience, now available at Boarding School Games.

Key Features:
- Control one of six major European powers during a time of religious and political upheaval.
- Engage in strategic diplomacy, royal marriages, and espionage to outmaneuver your rivals.
- Explore new game systems for religious conversion, world exploration, and patronage of the arts.
- Multiple scenarios cater to different player counts and session lengths, from quick tutorials to full campaigns.
- Sequel to "Here I Stand," featuring enhanced rules and new strategic elements for experienced players.

Go Get It!
GoSports does it again. Our family has a lot of GoSports products. It brings us comfort knowing when we order a product from them the quality is going to be great. The Ball Launcher is excellent. Our lab loves the soft tennis balls that come with it, preferring them over the harder rubber ones from other brands. The launcher itself is thoughtfully designed, well-made, and comfortable to hold. Our new go-to for daily fetch sessions.

Gave it a Try
I have always used the Chuck It ball and ball launcher. I thought I would try this since the price was better. There is definitely a reason it is priced lower. The handle on this one twists on and constantly comes undone when you throw, and it does not launch nearly as well. I would not order this product again.

A few usability issues
My dog is obsessed with playing fetch. It’s part of our daily routine. Pros - I like that this comes with two launchers so we can keep one at home and one in the car. - Build feels solid Cons - The cup is slightly too small for regular sized tennis balls. I buy the large Costco box of Penn tennis balls every couple of years for my dog. If you fully seat the ball in the cup/launching end, it’s extremely difficult to throw and puts some strain on your wrist. — the workaround is to only partially insert the ball when picking it up. - Like others have stated, the launcher does come unscrewed occasionally after a few throws. It’s kind of annoying so I’ll likely try some thread lock, but ideally that wouldn’t be necessary.

Fun!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this tennis ball launcher! Roxy absolutely loves it. Every time I pick it up, her tail goes crazy with excitement. It’s so easy on my arm, and I love that it gives her a great way to burn off energy. The launcher is sturdy, well-made, and works like a charm. If you have a high-energy pup like Roxy, this is a must-have!

Fun along with frustration….
The product is good. The only problem is that the dark blue handle screws onto the lighter blue stick, and every 5-10 throws it comes unscrewed, and you have to screw them back tight. Maybe if they put a little bump in the handle and an indent on the handle so they could click into place it would work fine.
