Last studio Elevators LP! Mostly a Stacy Sutherland LP... cool record, if not the mind-shattering classic psych of the Elevators' first two...

4-side insert featuring rare band photos relating to the recording sessions - New 96KHZ-24bit transfer from an original mixed master - Facsimile stereo edition - Half Speed lacquers cut at AIR Studios by Barry Grint - #10 of the Quest For Pure Sanity reissue series - This edition supersedes all previous editions - including the original pressing. 1969 final studio album by the Texan pioneers of psychedelia. Presenting the singles 'Livin' On' and band's the ethereal swansong 'May The Circle Remain Unbroken'. It is an important album in the band's discography and has continued to gain significance as their story has become more widely known.  By the time the album was recorded, the band were facing extreme challenges, lead vocalist Roky Erickson had to be broken out of a mental hospital in Houston by the band's lyricist Tommy Hall. They fled to San Francisco, leaving the band's lead guitarist, Stacy Sutherland stranded in Texas - unable to leave the state boundaries due to his probation restrictions.  While the songs 'Livin' On', 'Never Another', 'Dr. Doom' and 'May the Circle Remain Unbroken' feature the full band - the remainder of the album features Sutherland leading a power trio featuring former bassist Ronnie Leatherman with drummer Danny Thomas. Soon after the recordings were completed Ronnie was drafted to Vietnam, Danny was subjected to electric-shock treatment and Stacy was imprisoned for parole violation. Despite the challenges faced during it's creation, BULL OF THE WOODS has continued to gain recognition as a unique and significant album for it's darker psychedelic sound. Since this is a faithful reproduction of the original LP pressing - the number of processes from the mixed master tape to lacquer were limited to an absolute minimum. A half speed master was then cut at AIR Studios and a test pressing was then dubbed and the dynamic range compared against the original pressing. The result was a better sound pressing than the original!

Never would have expected this little book to bring so much joy to my grandkids <3
Format: Paperback
This little story is a charmer and would make the sweetest gift for a child for Valentine's day !! I orderd it for my grandkids ( the baby bears ) they are 6 ..4 ..and 2 and I can honestly say they were both laughing while reading it to me ..they had already read it 3 times in 2 days and me and there mom also got a kick out of it The story is about a boy who is making Valentines day cards for his classmates but he was upset with a few of them one for making fun of his glasses and he devoted to write something not super nice more of a silly ryme and bc he didn't want to say something nice to them he didn't sign his name to those 2 cards and they end up figuring it out ..the book ends very nice with a apology and they all forgave each other ..it's such a great book and the silly humor really ticked the kids so happy I took a chance and got it ..I highly recommend this cute book

Great fun Valentines story for young children
Format: Paperback
Totally silly and fun for Valentines! Enjoyed reading a story with a moral to it about being a bully and returning harshness back, vengeful behavior. All in a silly story, a tale of forgiveness and friendship. Really good for Kindergarteners and young children who are learning about friendships. All the characters are animals and are so sweetly rendered. The wording is delightful and makes you laugh. I really enjoyed reading it to my grandkids.
