The Meridian Technologies SX-1HG-1ST DigiView Transceiver Card with Multimode Connectors provides broadcast quality transmission of the industry standard range of digital video data rates. It supports 1 bi-directional channel of 3G-SDI video over a single fiber in each direction. It transmits real-time video and is a 1-channel rack mount card with re-clockers, which supports retiming, reshaping, and regenerate functions, and dual buffered outputs. You can set a single buffered output as a time base (clock) and the transmitter supports buffered loop-through. This feature ensures maximum performance over long distances. No video compression is utilized.
The SX-1HG-1ST Transceiver supports 1 channel of SMPTE bi-directional 292M-, 310M-, 259M-, 344M-, and 424M-compliant digital video data rates over 2 multimode fibers (one per direction). Using high performance digital transmission technologies, no user adjustments are required, ensuring quick deployment and setup with broadcast quality results. This provides the ability to convert the type of fiber in mid span. This transceiver can also be used as a broadband digital repeater to extend the range of other Meridian fiber transmission products. This unit is a standard 1-slot card that can be installed in either Meridian desk / shelf mount chassis (sold separately) or in 19�, 3 RU racking frames (sold separately).
