Simpson Strong-Tie ABW44RZ Installation Overview
- Position the post base on the concrete surface where the post will be installed.
- Align the slotted anchor hole for precise post placement.
- Attach the base to the concrete using a 1/2-inch concrete anchor (not included).
- Secure the post to the base using 10d common nails or #9 x 1-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SD screws.
- Ensure the 1-inch standoff is maintained to prevent post-end rot.
