  • HISTORY ASPECTS:
  • The General Dynamics F-16N “Adversary,” Bureau Number 163269, was one of a small number of specialized fighters acquired by the U.S. Navy to meet the growing need for high-performance threat replication during the late Cold War. Assigned to the U.S. Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) and associated adversary squadrons, the F-16N entered service during the 1990s as a lightweight, agile aircraft optimized for air combat maneuvering rather than multirole strike missions. Built without internal cannon and reinforced for high-G maneuvering, the F-16N represented a major leap in realism for adversary training.
  • During its service life, F-16N 163269 was flown to simulate advanced Soviet and post-Soviet fighter threats, such as the MiG-29 and Su-27, exposing fleet pilots to performance levels that earlier adversary aircraft could not match. Although the F-16N did not deploy into combat zones itself, it directly supported aircrew preparation for real-world conflicts. The training provided by aircraft like 163269 was instrumental in shaping tactics and pilot readiness for operations such as the Gulf War, enforcement of no-fly zones over Iraq, NATO operations in the Balkans, and later air campaigns where air superiority was decisive.
  • Operating in distinctive adversary camouflage schemes, the F-16N flew intensive sorties that emphasized energy management, high off-boresight maneuvering, and dissimilar air combat tactics. The aircraft’s demanding flight envelope and high sortie rates eventually led to structural fatigue issues across the F-16N fleet. By the late 1990s, the Navy grounded the type, ending its brief but highly influential service. Despite its short operational lifespan, the F-16N left a lasting legacy as one of the most capable adversary fighters ever flown by the U.S. Navy.
  • This 1:72 scale model is a must-have for collectors who appreciate rare and purpose-built aircraft. Capturing the sleek lines, unique configuration, and iconic role of a TOP GUN-era legend, it represents the elite training that forged combat-proven naval aviators and makes a striking addition to any modern military aviation collection.

Clay-Like Texture, All-Day Control
When my go-to pomade was discontinued, I had to start the search all over again. After seeing several ads for Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade on social media, I decided to give it a try and ordered a tin. Right out of the can, you can tell this product is different. It’s very thick—almost like actual clay. At first, I wasn’t sure how it would work with my shorter hair. Pro tip: lightly wet your hands before working it in. Once you add a little moisture and warm it up between your fingers, it spreads much more easily and evenly. Applying it to damp hair makes styling smooth and straightforward. When first applied, the hold feels strong and structured. As the day goes on, it relaxes slightly but still keeps your hair in place without looking stiff or overly styled. I appreciate that it maintains shape while allowing a more natural finish as the hours pass. It is more expensive than some other options out there, but in my opinion, the performance justifies the price. For reference, my hair is short—slightly longer than a typical military regulation cut—so this review reflects how it performs on shorter styles. Overall, I’m happy with the switch and would recommend Highland Glacial Hair Clay Pomade to anyone looking for a strong, workable hold with a natural feel.

Good Stuff!
Can’t say enough good things about Highland’s Glacial Clay Pomade! Don’t let your initial reaction to its appearance fool you. This stuff is great! In the tin, it’s fairly thick, but I put less than a dime size amount on my fingertips, place it in my palm, and then rub my palms together and it quickly turns into a very delicate gel that I work into my hair. Unlike other products that leave your hair crispy or with a sheen, this dries invisibly and allows you to continue to adjust and manage your hair throughout the day without looking like you have anything in at all. It’s so easy to use and keeps my hair looking great all day. Smells great too! I feel good knowing that I’m putting something on my body that’s 100% natural even down to the aluminum tin, which is fully recyclable. I’ve been using this along with Highland’s shampoo “The Wash“ for a few months now and I swear my hair has never been softer. I’m a big fan of this company and their products!

It's a good pomade
This clay pomade is easiest to work with when the temperature is around 74F and higher. If the room temperature is around 66F, it takes longer to soften. I have thick, straight hair that sticks out if you cut it wrong. This pomade handles it pretty well. Once it's worked in, it holds the styling together. This stuff does not flatten the hair like regular pomade. Instead, it adds "body" or volume to your hair. There is no gloss. It settles in with no shine in your hair. And like most pomades, this Highland stuff also does a good job moistening dry hands. Another thing about this pomade is that it's hard to wash out, so if you keep it there, you can towel off and style your hair back in place without adding more fresh pomade. With delivery via Prime, it took 7 days, which isn't very prime. I could go to the drugstore and grab another brand of clay pomade in less than a day. This stuff is pricey, which I cannot figure out why. All-natural ingredients means they don't need to formulate compounds to make pomade, so it should cost less, but it's not. While it's a good product, I can't always afford the high price.

Long-Lasting Stick Deodorant – Fresh Scent, No White Marks, Gentle on Skin
Scent: Original Citrus+Eucalyptus, Size: 3.2 Ounce (Pack of 2)
This stick deodorant works great! It provides all-day odor protection, even during busy and active days. The scent is fresh but not overpowering, which I really like. It glides on smoothly, doesn’t leave white marks on clothes, and feels light on the skin. I also have sensitive skin and had no irritation at all. Overall, a reliable and effective deodorantI will definitely be buying it again!
