| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. ThermoMaven Does All the Work and Eliminates All the Temp Worries
I made this purchase as a cost-effective way to monitor the meat temperature while cooking without any wires. I have used this in my smoker grill, traditional gas grill, charcoal grill, oven and rotisserie air fryer. I tested the reading for accuracy with other temp measuring devices and find that it has been spot on in every method. It is so easy to use that you push it into the meat to the designated line and it reads the ambient, (surrounding), temp as well as the current meat temp. The display is easy to read and has a backlight when cooking outdoors in dim lighting. It is magnetic so it keeps the controller in place. When finished easily clean the probe with dish detergent and a wipe. I will be purchasing the 4-probe version since I do a lot of smoker grill cooks so I can measure more than one zone or different foods at the same time.
