"Beautifully styled and refined, the enticing bouquet shows blackberry, sweet cherry, game and toasted nut characters with a hint of spicy complexity. It's succulent and supple on the palate delivering excellent weight and roundness, combined with silky texture and polished tannins, offering wonderful structure and length" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, May 2021

"Dense, almost inky Syrah with dark berry, red-fleshed plum, dark chocolate, liquorice and black pepper supported by fine, graphite tannins. An impressive wine with serious cellaring potential" Bob Campbell, Master of Wine, Real Review, May 2021

"Pure, fresh, ripe and complex. Aromas of red berries and raspberry, fresh meats and oyster mushrooms, barrel spices and toasty smokey oak. Complex and inviting, youthful and compelling. Equally intense on the palate with a core of ripe red berry fruit flavours then meaty, countryside flavours and spices. A hard stone mineral quality, firm tannins, backbone of acidity and a touch of pepper spice. A really lovely wine needing a little more time to develop and settle in" Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier

"Deeply coloured, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) was grown in the Bridge Pa Triangle and matured for 14 months in French oak casks (50 per cent new).  Floral, with a spicy, vividly varietal bouquet, it is mouthfilling, with strong, youthful plum, spice and black pepper flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and ripe, supple tannins" Michael Cooper's Wine Buyer's Guide

A fragrant and complex bouquet of violet, plum, black cherry, and blueberry with hints of black pepper and 5 spice. This is a beautifully balanced and complex wine with Black Doris plum, black cherry, sweet prune and black olive flavours supported by a silky textured palate with firm but fine-grained tannins. There is also a hint of smokey oak giving this Syrah great structure and length.

The vines are managed to crop light and have good fruit exposure. Fruit thinning takes place to one bunch per cane to maximize ripening potential. Harvest is all by hand once the grapes have achieved physiological and perfect ripeness.

2019 gave them long, hot, sunny summer days with moderate-cool nights for very good ripening conditions, whilst preserving fresh acidity. It was a dry year and they had the luxury of optimal picking decisions not hurried by the threat of rain.

Whole bunches are destemmed and partially crushed. They aim for about 20% whole berry in the tank. After several days, the ferment is started and kept under 30°C. Regular pump-overs will keep the cap submerged and extract the fine skin tannins present in this wine. Malo-lactic fermentation takes place in tank during maceration. The wine undergoes elevage for 14 months in a mix of French oak Barriques and Puncheons (50% new), it is racked once before bottling the year following harvest.

Food Pairing: Food matches include wild pork, red meats, game dishes and salmon.

Great dog balls at a great price
Size: Medium
The balls are a favorite for my dog. I could have done without the hole through the middle because I don't do treats in balls anyway. My dog loves balls for their own merit. I needed replacement balls for my Nerf Dog Ball launcher. It seems the originals have disappeared from the market. I took a chance because the price is right and this Chuck-it ball works very well so we're liking this ball a lot. So far my Dachsund, who can destroy a tennis ball (the kind they are selling as Nerf Dog replacements) in 3 minutes has not done any damage to this one so that's a win. I recommend this as a much better ball than the fuzzy tennis balls. I like the colors too since many dog toys are green (which gets lost in the lawn, etc.) or red (even though dogs have red/green color blindness. Blue and orange are good and pretty easy to find. I liked these well enough that this set was my second purchase so I will have spares in case the others are lost.

My Baby loves his new baby!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Finally! A ball my 107 lb. pitty/pointer mix can’t destroy. He has torn up every single “indestructible” toy in a day or so until now. He peels fabric and fur off non-rubber toys. He is a 4-legged shredder. I’ve added pictures of him for a size reference of my dog versus this product. I know I had wanted that when shopping for this item. This ball is now his beloved “baby.” He goes absolutely insane looking for it, chewing it, chasing it, and even sleeping with it. He won’t rest unless he knows exactly where it is. It is his only toy, and he is good with that. After getting this home, I tried giving him other choices, but he won’t touch them. I was worried that he would rip it apart by putting his teeth in the holes, but so far, not a scratch. It is soft enough to collapse just enough to keep it from cracking when his jaws crush it but not so soft that he can rip it to sheds. The holes are large enough to prevent a suction or vacuum effect on his tongue or mouth. For his size jaws, it is a perfect fit. Other dogs might have problems with suction or be able to get their teeth in those holes and rip it apart. Who knows? The older version of the Chuckit squeaky ball was his favorite for the year and a half he had it, but the way they make them now, he peels off the orange triangle in hours flat, the squeaker falls out (choking hazard), and then he rips it apart. I’m going to stock up on these. I can’t imagine how crazy he will be if they ever stop production or change the materials.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs
Size: Small
These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch. These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds. The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!

My dogs favorite balls
Size: Medium
These are great for my dog who always has to have a ball in her mouth. Not too hard so I don't have to worry about her teeth. They last for ever. They do lose their shape a little over time (like I said, she always has a ball in her mouth) they become a little oval in shape. They still bounce, she still chases it and she still chews on it so I don't think she notices or cares. I've gotten her a bag full of these over time and I have only seen one that she chewed a chunk out.
