Installation Guide

  1. Safety First: Disconnect the battery and the spark plug wires before beginning work.
  2. Drain Gearcase Oil: Place a drain pan under the lower unit and remove the drain/fill screws to empty the gearcase oil.
  3. Remove Lower Unit: Unbolt the lower unit (outdrive) from the upper section of the engine. This may require removing a trim tab to access a hidden bolt.
  4. Access the Water Pump: With the lower unit removed, locate and unbolt the water pump housing cover.
  5. Inspect and Replace: Remove the old impeller, gaskets, plates, and seals. Clean all mating surfaces thoroughly, checking for corrosion or wear.
  6. Install New Components: Install the new components from the kit in the reverse order of disassembly. Lightly grease the new impeller and insert it while turning the driveshaft clockwise.
  7. Reassemble: Reinstall the water pump housing, ensuring bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specification. Reattach the lower unit to the engine and refill the gearcase with fresh oil.
  8. Test Operation: Reconnect the battery and spark plugs. Start the engine using a water source (flushing muffs) and verify a strong, steady stream of water from the tell-tale outlet.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

Q: How do I confirm this kit fits my Yamaha engine?

A: The best way is to match your engine's model and year to the compatibility tables provided above. We also recommend using the official Yamaha Serial Number Guide and Parts Catalog linked above to cross-reference the OEM part number (63D-W0078-01-00) with your specific engine diagram.

Q: What are the signs my water pump impeller needs replacing?

A: Common indicators of a failing impeller include the engine overheating alarm sounding, a weak or intermittent water stream from the "tell-tale" outlet, or a temperature gauge reading higher than normal. Visual inspection during regular maintenance may also reveal cracked, brittle, or worn impeller vanes.

Q: How often should I replace the impeller?

A: As a general maintenance guideline, we recommend replacing the water pump impeller and gaskets every 1 to 2 years or every 100-200 operating hours, whichever comes first. This interval can be shorter if you frequently operate in sandy, silty, or saltwater conditions.

Q: Is this an OEM part or an aftermarket part?

A: This listing is an aftermarket replacement part (not an OEM component). We build to OEM specifications using comparable-grade materials. Production is done in an ISO9002-certified facility, and each batch is inspected for consistent performance.

Q: How fast do you ship and how much does it cost?

A: We offer fast global shipping—typically 5–15 days worldwide—and standard shipping is free. Expedited options are available at checkout depending on your location.

Q: What is your warranty and return policy?

A: This product includes a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If something goes wrong, contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard return window (unused & in original condition); please see our policy page or reach out for instructions.

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.
