This latest development makes Autoback an affordalbe option on all trailers, and also easily retro-fittable to existing braked trailers. Trailparts™ were the first to offer a reversing lock out brake system in New Zealand. However initial systems were adapted from American actuators, and were expensive and bulky to retrofit to New Zealand systems. Now compact and inexpensive, Autoback should be on the spec sheet of every new braked trailer!
To wire in the Autoback simply connect the two purple wires into your reverse light circuit. Polarity should not matter.
Trailparts also recommend use of Loctite on rear nut during installation.
