The integrated connection is BSP threaded male size DN25 (1). The LFC25 D can be used in cold and hot water and in new or old installations. SURGEx LFC25-D is a Copper piston Water Hammer Arrester (WHA) size D fitted with LEAD FREE brass fitting for safe use with drinking water. The integrated connection is BSP threaded male size DN25 (1”). The LFC25-D can be used in cold and hot water and in new or old installations. The arrester is designed to be connected to the pipeline through a 'Tee' fitting (not included). It is suitable for indoor installation or outdoor. SURGEx LFC25-D is charged at factory and does not need to be recharged again. It is maintenance free. 

MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION

• Body: Hard drawn seamless copper
• Piston: PP
• O-ring: EPDM
• Seal lubricant: Dow-Corning Silicone or equivalent compound approved for use in potable water systems
• Adapter: Lead Free Brass, C46400

OPERATION
SURGEx-LFC arrestor is pre-charged with pressurized gas (Nitrogen) and installed in the plumbing system near the source of the water hammer. When water flow suddenly stops, the piston inside the arrester compresses the gas, which absorbs the pressure surge and reduces the risk of damage to the plumbing system. The compressed gas then slowly expands back to its pre-charged state, ready for the next water hammer event.
