Historical Context of the 16th Century Italian Portraiture

The Role of Portraits in Renaissance Society

During the Renaissance, portraits served as powerful symbols of status and influence. Wealthy patrons commissioned these artworks to showcase their power, lineage, and social standing. Portraits were not just images; they were statements of identity and authority, often displayed in grand homes or public spaces.

Influence of the Counter-Reformation on Art

The Counter-Reformation significantly impacted art, emphasizing religious themes and moral values. Artists like Giovanni Battista Moroni adapted their styles to reflect the Church's ideals. Love it get it girl!
love this collagen balm stick—it really feels like a little “magic wand” for my skin! It’s so easy to apply and super convenient to use on the go for the eyes, neck, and face. The texture glides on smoothly without feeling greasy, and it gives an instant boost of hydration and a nice glow. I like that it helps my skin feel more plump and refreshed, especially on dry or tired areas. It’s become a quick step in my routine when I need a fast touch-up or extra moisture. Overall, very impressed with how effective and easy it is to use! ✨

Surprised!
I was really hesitant to get this product because of the very mixed reviews but I decided to give it a try. I was so completely surprised by this and its effectiveness and appearance. While I haven’t used it long enough to know if it has any effect on fine lines, the under eye effect is truly magical. I’ve yet to find any product that makes my bags go away, but I just put a light layer of this on and my bags go away in 10 minutes and I look like I slept twelve hours and aged in reverse. It is definitely a greasy product so if you are prone to oily skin, I’d say this may not be the product for you. For me, I put a light layer on under my eyes, my smile lines, and forehead. For me, it absorbs quite well and leaves my skin looking very shiny and glowy which I love. I have not had any issues with the texture of it, or had it leave any residue but I’m using quite a thin layer, which I think is what is intended. 10/10 would but again.
