In 2001, the Hobonichi Techo [planner] was launched after positive response from readers when asked if they would purchase a techo by the brand if developed. Since then, the Hobonichi lineup has grown from 1 to 7 types, with some being available in Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has sold over 10 million copies over the world.

For 2026, the A6 Cover will not be sold separately. It will be bundled with the 2026 Hobonichi Techo A6 English Original Book.

A large Mr. Saturn is printed onto a bright yellow background—look out for how his pose changes based on the angle of the cover. The lenticular printing makes it so that whenever Mr. Saturn moves around and around, charmingly, so does the ribbon. The cover interior is a purple for a shift in mood. As a bonus, a paper clip in the shape of Mr. Saturn is also included.
