The Casa Elite is available as a standard or a low model; both bed variants allow the bed to be raised/lowered to a height such that a carer's posture is closer to neutral for the moving and handling of patients.
- The Casa Elite Low has a height option available at just 19.2cm minimum height from the floor to the mattress platform; reducing the risk of a fall from height for vulnerable residents
- A range of nursing functions available including cardiac chair positioning, auto contour and foot down tilt (Reverse Trendelenburg)
- A range of interchangeable accessories available, including side rails, grab handles and padding systems
- The manual calf lift ratchet option can be specified at the point of ordering, which provides lower leg elevation
- Optional bed platform extension accommodates taller individuals by increasing the length by 16cm. Extended side rails are also available (wooden or metal) to be used in conjunction with the platform extension to support and provide safe, comfortable and dignified care
- Modular head and footboard design facilitates efficient repair and replacement of the head and footboards, reducing product downtime during service and maintenance.
- Intuitive and easy to use 9 button handset is provided as standard with the Casa Elite. The handset includes a lock-out facility to prevent unauthorised use for additional patient safety. An optional 10 button handset for head down tilt (Trendelenburg) positioning is available, allowing a tilt of 11° if prescribed for an individuals clinical needs
- Quick and easy, single personal installation, requiring only an Allen key (supplied and attached to the bed frame)
- The bed can be disassembled when not in use and stored on transport stands enabling safe and compact storage
- Easy to manouvre with 7.5cm braked castors
- Compliant to EN 60601-1-11 (Type B applied parts compliant), EN 60601-1 and EN 60601-2-52

Sweet second-chance romance

When You Smile was my introduction to Melissa Brayden’s writing, and Dream a Little Dream confirmed that this author creates lovely stories with amazing characters.
This book was a sweet second-chance romance with enough sad moments to make me shed some tears.
It also has a surprise reveal that I didn’t see coming and a small-town community that made me feel warm and cozy.
I loved Kyle and Savanna. Their first meeting nearly got me giggling, but I was definitely kicking my feet and smiling like a fool.
Savanna was endearing and had a knack for public announcements. I felt deeply for her and truly understood her reaction after getting hurt. As for Kyle… is there a word to describe her? I could feel her aura bleed through my screen. Her flirting and ability to get through Savanna’s defense left me swooning one or two times. I honestly don’t know how Savanna managed to stand on business so 10 out of 10 for her effort.
I really enjoyed Dream a Little Dream and can’t wait to read another Melissa Brayden’s book.

Wonderful
Format: Paperback
This was a hard book to put down. The characters of Svanna & Kyle are so well developed, as our their families and friends, who just enhance the whole story. When Savanna is left on the bridge, my heart broke, was amended later, and fulfilled by the end of the book.

I loved this book right from the get-go. The snappy repartee between Savanna and Kyle made me laugh and shiver with delight all through this book. Loved this book so much

First, it’s a cute story with a great themes of: younger older woman, daughter‘s friend, disgruntled with family. I have to admit every time the main character was talking to her father I was so incredibly annoyed. It brought up all the conversations I’ve ever had with misogynist in my life. Definitely well written.
On happier notes; the love story, the meddling neighbor/landlord, cute child, and kittens! Really, what story isn’t made better by kittens?
Seriously this is an exceptionally well written story with fantastic characters, plot lines, and a great ending.
