DonJoy OA FullForce Knee Brace

The DonJoy OA FullForce is a high-performance clinical orthosis engineered specifically for active patients suffering from mild-to-moderate unicompartmental osteoarthritis combined with ligamentous instability. By integrating a lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum frame with DonJoy’s patented 4-Point Leverage System and a 3-point load offloading design, this brace creates a Zero-Friction environment for joint healing. The OA FullForce effectively shifts painful compressive loads away from the damaged compartment while simultaneously providing the mechanical "hard-stop" necessary to protect the ACL, PCL, and collateral ligaments. Designed with a sleek, low-profile geometry, it is the premier choice for individuals who demand both arthritis relief and high-level structural security during daily activities and low-impact sports.

Clinical Features & Patient Benefits

  • 3-Point Load Offloading System: Features a mechanical leverage design that provides "Zero-Friction" relief by shifting pressure away from the affected joint compartment to reduce bone-on-bone pain.
  • 4-Point Leverage System: A clinically proven structural design that provides "Zero-Friction" anatomical guidance, significantly reducing ligamentous strain and preventing joint "giving way."
  • Lightweight Aircraft-Grade Aluminum: A high-strength, low-profile framework that provides "Zero-Friction" structural integrity without the excessive weight of traditional orthopedic braces.
  • Telescoping Condyle Pad: Allows for patient-controlled "Zero-Friction" load adjustment, enabling the user to fine-tune the amount of offloading required based on their activity level and pain.

The Clinical Authority: Why Professionals Trust the OA FullForce

Orthopedic specialists and Sports Medicine practitioners specify the DonJoy OA FullForce for patients who require a "hybrid" solution for osteoarthritis and instability. Its "Zero-Friction" environment is the gold standard for managing medial compartment OA in active individuals who also present with ligamentous laxity. By providing a rigid external frame that manages both axial loading and translational forces, the brace reduces the physiological stress on the articular cartilage while protecting the joint's structural alignment. This targeted approach is highly effective for improving patient confidence during gait and allowing for a safer return to functional movement.

FAQ: Arthritis Offloading & Performance

How does this help my arthritis pain?
The "Zero-Friction" 3-point load system physically pushes the knee joint to open up the compressed side, reducing the painful contact between the femur and tibia.

Can I wear this while playing golf or walking?
Absolutely. The "Zero-Friction" low-profile aluminum frame is specifically engineered for active use, providing the rigidity needed for protection without hindering your natural stride.

Does it fit either leg?
No. To ensure the offloading forces and hinges are correctly aligned, you must specify the Left or Right knee and which side of the joint (Medial or Lateral) requires offloading.

Specifications & Sizing Table

Selection is based on three measurements: Thigh (6" above knee center), Knee Center, and Calf (6" below knee center). Measure carefully for an optimal "Zero-Friction" clinical fit:

Size Thigh (6" Above) Knee Center Calf (6" Below)
X-Small 13" – 15.5" 12" – 13" 10" – 12"
Small 15.5" – 18.5" 13" – 14" 12" – 14"
Medium 18.5" – 21" 14" – 15" 14" – 16"
Large 21" – 23.5" 15" – 17" 16" – 18"
X-Large 23.5" – 26.5" 17" – 19" 18" – 20"
2X-Large 26.5" – 29.5" 19" – 21" 20" – 22"
3X-Large 29.5" – 32" 22" – 24" 22" – 24"

Second watch died faster than the first!
Color: Black/Brown/White
Now I have bought two of these. On the first, indiglo died after one year (battery otherwise fine). On the second, it only lasted 9 months. I’m done. On the first, suspecting the battery was prematurely drained, I took it to the jeweler to get a new battery. He said there was nothing wrong with the battery. I was within the warranty period for the second watch. When I inquired, I was told that it meant shipping the watch overseas for about 3 months to be fixed. Wow. So in reality, it's a disposable item that is not likely to work as long as warranted, much less several years. Time to find another brand.

An excellent replacement for the old camper watch
Color: Black/Black/Black
I wore Timex camer watches for much of my adult life. I prefer the analog wind-up versions, but they are not widely available at a reasonable price. I purchased this model for its large easy to read face and durable strap. The Indiglo feature is a bonus.

Favorite watch / solar
Color: Green/Green
I'm partial... I have bought Timex my intire life, they no doubt make the best watches... They take a licking, but keep on ticking is there old commercials.. True.. Great quality, keeps going after many year's... I never bought a solar watch from them prior I have to mention... It should hold up I'm thinking like their battery watches, I hope so. My favorite watch, I own a handful. Watch looks better in person... Downfall, they are trying a new band out of recycled plastic, I don't like it as much as the older bands it's soft, but feels a little strange...
