The PL-1860E is made just like all of our other metal lathes with only the best components. The massive fully cast base is built to stand up to years of use and gives great support to the main frame of the machine. All of the ways are precision ground, hardened, and then polished to ensure smooth movement. The bed is cross-ribbed for added strength and stability as well. And with 12 spindle speeds to chose from the PL-1860E has the perfect rpm for whatever you are cutting.
The PL-1860E metal working lathe includes many features not found on other machines in this price category. Things like the 2 Axis digital readout system, 8" 3-jaw universal chuck, 13” four jaw chuck, 8" back plate, coolant system, steady rest, follow rest, headstock chuck guard with micro switch, Rear Splash Guard, and halogen work light are all included.
