Processing Details:

Coffee is first carefully hand picked and sorted using flotation; where undesirable cherries float and are separated out from the others. The coffee then undergoes a 24 hour fermentation in cherry. The coffee is then depulped, washed and dried until desirable moisture content is reached.

What we taste:

Daniel’s Chiroso is one of our favorite expressions of the variety that we’ve had to date. Firstly we notice a really vibrant juiciness like tangerine. What we have come to associate as the “classic” Chiroso rich mouthfeel is absolutely present, which perfectly collides with the citrus to remind us of creamsicle. The sweetness is quite pronounced and centers on brown sugar. Such a delight to have Daniel's coffee back for a second year. This is our aim to re-purchase from the same producers, and its an honor to get the chance to do so through Unblended.
