Engine Cold Air Intake Performance Kit

This Performance Air Intake System allows your engine to breathe more air compared to the restrictive factory air intake housing. It is designed, tuned and dyno-tested to produce more horsepower and torque. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. A custom shaped heat shield with lid is included. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). This Air Intake System is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. View the vehicle applications to determine the legal status for each vehicle.

AEM's Performance Cold Air Intake Systems are designed, tuned and dyno-tested to give your engine more power and acceleration by replacing the restrictive factory air filter, air intake tubing and air box assembly.

Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy

Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.
