Offered here is a stunning Louis XV–style bombe commode of exceptional quality, featuring rich burr walnut veneers, elegant hand-cut floral marquetry, and original cast bronze mounts. This is a dramatic, sculptural piece of furniture built in the tradition of Parisian luxury cabinetry, with a gracefully curved bombe form and thick green marble top.

The drawer fronts are beautifully book-matched, creating a flowing, symmetrical burl pattern across the face — a hallmark of high-grade European craftsmanship. The case is fully shaped on all sides, not flat-backed, and finished in a warm hand-polished surface that highlights the depth of the wood.

The commode is mounted with ornate gilt bronze hardware, including Rococo drawer pulls, escutcheons, corner mounts, and foot sabots, all deeply cast and well-detailed. The shaped legs and scalloped apron give the piece its classic Louis XV silhouette.
