Description:
A 1986 Fender '62 vintage reissue Jazzmaster made in Japan in candy apple red. 1986 was the first year of production for Fender Japan's Jazzmaster reissues and these rarely turn up, especially in very clean condition. Headstock is excellent, rear of neck has some scratching behind the 5th fret (nothing major), frets show some light wear in the root chord position but have tons of life left. Fretboard is a beautiful rich/dark rosewood and in great condition. Plastics are turning a great vintage cream color. Body shows a few surface marks, small scratches and edge marks but no major dings/chips or deep scratches. Very clean condition for close to 40 years of age. Overall a great playing, well balanced jazzmaster from Japan's vintage reissue golden age!
Has been fully inspected and setup here by our team at Coast Sonic and is ready for a new home. Includes padded gig bag.
