How do we get the gold tone? Gold anodization of aluminum known as anodizing is an electrochemical process which converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant oxide layer. It cannot chip or peel. We do not use pigments, but metals to obtain the gold color. Gold anodizing is therefore extremely UV resistant and will remain sparkling for a long time. COLOR/PATINA MAY VARY DUE TO THE HAND MADE NATURE OF THE PIECE. These imperfections reflect the nature of the material and artisanal hand feel.
