Surya is Sanskrit for "Sun"

This is an an all over oil - meant to stretch your dollar without compromising on purity and quality. This blend reaches deeply for long sunned skins, offering the most potent wild crafted tucuma and pracaxi oils I have found along with the rejuvenation of sea buckthorn and the deep green richness of avocado oil for hydration and sun/ wind repair and sun harmonizing. The essential oil blend is rich..including "heal all" helichrysum, calming carrot seed and de-flaming turmeric CO2. I spend a lot of time in the sun and wind these days, and this oil really is a go to skin savior blend for my aging, drying skin.

To Use

For the Body: Apply liberally over dry areas and massage in deeply all over while skin is still damp to the entire body. Use before and after Sun exposure to harmonize sun rays.

For the Face: After cleansing and misting the face and neck, combine 1-4 pumps each of Surya Renewal Oil + Immortal Serum, Chanda, hydrosol or filtered water, then smooth over face and neck. (May be used on the delicate skin area around the eyes.)  Everyone's hydration needs are different. If your skin is a bit oily after application, use a touch less on the next application. If you are dry after application, use a touch more upon the next application. You will find your perfect balance. Follow with a balm of choice to lock in hydration.

Key Ingredients

Avocado Oil: A sweet friend to dry skins or those that love the be outdoors (and I hope that's all or most of you!). This deeply hued green oil is beaming with nutrients, especially vitamin E and oleic acid offering deep hydration and regeneration to the skin barrier. Avocado oil is also rich in  beta-carotene, vitamin D, protein, lecithin, and fatty acids making it anti-inflammatory and soothing to sun burned skin.

Pracaxi Oil: This exquisite oil is wild harvested and cold pressed in Brazil by the locals, giving them an alternative to logging and farming which are the largest factors in deforestation there. Pracaxi is antioxidant rich, making her an inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis, reducing dark spots, scars, and stretch marks and offering replenishment to the lipid skin barrier and protection from harsh environments.  Her unusually high offering of behenic acid protects the skin barrier, hydrates and restores the skin’s natural oils. She leaves a silky feel on the skin after absorption.

Sea Buckthorn Oil 

• Incredibly deeply red hued, this oil is loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, and carotenoids. Carotenoids are a natural source of Vitamin A which reduces acne and rosacea, boosts collagen, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, softens the skin, and fights cancerous cells.  

• Harmonizes the sun’s rays via her protective and anti-inflammatory structure. (See study) 

• The berry contains 12x more Vitamin C than an orange, and Vitamin C stimulates collagen production and reduces sun spots.  

• She’s one of the few fruits available to us that contains the full spectrum of Omegas 3, 6, 7 and 9.

• For acne conditions, her anti-inflammatory properties break the inflammation cycle, reducing scarring and swelling while strengthening and smoothing the skin barrier.

Tamanu Oil

• Easily absorbed and deeply hydrating

• Offers soothing and cooling anti-inflammatory sun burn relief and protection against UV damage

• Promotes glyco-amino-glycan production which helps support collagen.

• Fades hyperpigmentation and scarring by encouraging the growth of new skin cells.

• Is antibacterial and anti-fungal, often used to treat acne and fungal infections such as ring worm and athletes foot.

Tucuma Oil

• An inhibitor of melanin biosynthesis, which helps reduce melasma and sun and age spots.

• Is a deeply hued red color offering a rich source of beta-carotene and vitamin A and B1 which are regenerative to the skin.

• Beta Carotene has been widely studied for it’s prevention of UV-related skin damage.

• Rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 and is highly moisturizing to sunned skins

Helichrysum Essential Oil

• Also known as Immortelle and Everlasting, Helichrysum also means “golden sun of Italy” according to Allen Coombes Dictionary of Plant Names and that really says a lot about her!

• Is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and new cell stimulating properties is what gives her spectacular results in wound healing and premature aging.

Roman Chamomile Essential Oil 

• Antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory herb for the skin
• Soothes and heals irritated skin, calming redness, reversing dryness 
• Because of her high level of antioxidants, she is useful in protecting the skin from free radicals, and reducing the the signs of aging

Supercritical Turmeric CO2

• Reduces acne inflammations and eczema, regulates sebum production, prevents the formation of wrinkles, retains skin elasticity, and one study shows that she even has some ability to protect our skin from UV rays.

• In a double blind study, she was shown to have similar abilities in reducing hyperpigmenation to hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is a toxic skin lightening agent that is used in conventional skin lightening creams and has been found to create adverse reactions on the skin whereas turmeric showed no adverse affects to the skin.

Supercritical Frankincense CO2

• Hydrates the cells, repairs wounds, reduces and fades scars and wrinkles, and promotes skin cell regeneration.
