Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Have had previous models of this printer and they have always been solid. We use them in our office trailers on our construction jobsites and this new version works excellent just as the previous series did.

Excellent, as long as you don't update firmware

About 6 months in, and I am very happy with the performance of this printer. I loved that it collated multipage documents without being told to! I have denied every request for firmware updates, and I am pleased to report that remanufactured ink cartridges (pronounced "more affordable and just as good") work just fine. DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE. The updates only serve to make it impossible to use off-brand or remanufactured ink cartridges.

Vibrant, Rich Colors
This is my absolute FAVORITE sublimation ink. For the price, it's the best you'll find the canisters are easy to use, don't leak, and lasting for months.
The bottles fit perfectly onto the eco tank. The colors are vibrant, rich, transferring to piece exactly as it should. These work like a dream and I'm a loyal customer, for sure.
