Artec Industries' NEW JL Bellypan is designed to give your 2018 - 2020 Jeep JLU Wrangler full protection underneath the vehicle. Designed using CAD files directly from the manufacturer, this belly pan skid plate ensures that you have a great fit with factory components. Made from 1/4" thick 6061 Aluminum and 3/16" zinc platedSteel, and CNC cut and formed, the Artec JL Bellypan Kit offers both a strong and lightweight solution for your new Jeep JL.

- Adds only 10 lbs to net weight of vehicle yet covers far more and is heavier duty than factory skids

- Increases ground clearance of 3/4" from factory skids and even more compared to other aftermarket skid plates
- 1/4" 6061 Aluminum for skid plates, 3/16" zinc plated steel brackets
- Designed from factory CAD files for great and ultra precise fit.
- CNC laser cut and CNC formed using custom rolled dies for high strength, unique look, and perfect contour fitment to OEM components.
- All bolts under skid plate are countersunk for absolutely smooth bottom
- All nuts are pressed into steel brackets for easy, one tool removal
- Bolts directly to OEM T-case crossmember and frame using heavy duty flat head bolts that match OEM thread
- No need for an aftermarket T-case crossmember for completely flat surface
- Modular design lets you take off only one section for vehicle servicing
- Protects Oil Pan, Transmission Pan, Gas Tank, Front Exhaust and Transfer Case
- OEM gas tank skid is replaced for reduced weight and 3/4" higher clearance*
- Artec Gas tank skid can be removed without dropping entire tank thanks to new additional cross-member and tank strap.
- Clearance near rear drive yoke shaft to prevent rubbing
* From what we have found the crossover pipe may need to be modified slightly by heating the crossover pipe with a small torch (map gas or propane ) and pinch the pipe some with a c clamp to clear the oil pan skid (don't worry it crushes down from the factory next to where you would need to pinch) A majority of JL/JT will not have the contact, but due to factory variance from Jeep's factory, there is a small amount of affected vehicles.
*Due to mid model year changes from Jeep, August 2018 and earlier build date JL's have a different fuel tank then September 2018-current. If you have an early model 2018, please call or email us so we can make sure to get the correct fuel skid for your application on the order before it ships.

Yes the suction works on stainless steel!!

I've been through many rag holders before including a magnetic one, which broke. But the suction on this sucker (pun intended) is top notch! It doesn't slide around or come off or slide to the bottom of the sink. It just stays put which is so unique for anything with suction cups. The only reason i am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is quite small. I wish it were a few inches longer so i could easily fit two rags or sponges in the holder. But i have to jam them in and its not pretty. So for the price, i think it should have been bigger. Still a good product because of the functionality of the suction cups.

Absolutely Perfect

This is honestly one of my favorite kitchen purchases (which sounds silly) but it's AWESOME. There's a hole for my dish brush, which is so convenient and keeps it from draining anywhere else AND it has a nice ledge for my sponge. The suction was a little iffy at first, but once it really hunkered down, I've had it for a month and it hasn't fallen since the first day. I LOVE THIS

Great product once put on correctly.

When I first received it and placed it on, it continued to fall so I almost returned it. However, I found a method online that worked and it has not fallen since even after all the water and soap getting near it. I’ve placed it on a stainless steel sink so not sure if the method works on other surfaces.
Clean the area with soap and water and then make sure there’s no soap residue. Make the water temperature hot and “heat up” both the steel surface and the suction. While it’s still wet, firmly place the suction and make sure it doesn’t move.
That should do the trick!

Great item to make life more pleasant!

A tiny item that makes my life more lovely. No more yucky scrubber residue all over the counter edge, or soap leaking all over from a faulty handle. A sponge can be at hand and I can hang my cloth somewhere besides the top of the faucet. The suction cups stuck well now at first, and I can move it whenever I want. Not to big nor too small. Wire is firm and strong. Will edit if it doesn’t hold up but right now highly recommend!
Edit to add: A bit disappointing that the suction cups are not reliable. Even after carefully cleaning the side of my deep sink with vinegar and washing the suction cups, they come loose about once a day. Giving them a hard push on seems to help, but not a cure. I revised the rating to average 3 stars. It really isn’t a problem in the sink.

Stays put and does the job

I hate clutter. That includes my sink area. This holds my oxo scrubber and a sponge with ease. It also lets everything drain nice so there is no issue with slime or smell that other caddies have. Looks nice and amazingly the suction cups work. So far the finish is holding up and for what it is, it does its job. Looks nice.
