This motorcycle maintenance kit features a stable base plate that securely stores cleaning and lubrication agents. It includes two adjustable telescopic rods that extend from the base plate, allowing users to position the chain bath directly beneath the motorcycle chain while the bike is on a center or rear stand. These rods can be easily adjusted to accommodate different chain geometries, including height and angle, ensuring a perfect fit for various motorcycle models. The Moto Chain-Mate is versatile and compatible with both left and right-hand drive train setups.
Atop the rods rests the chain bath and an overspray protection cap. During the cleaning and lubrication process, the motorcycle chain runs between the bath and cap, which effectively prevents overspray from adhering to tires, wheels, and swingarms. Excess cleaning agents and lubricants flow down into a drainage system, collecting in a designated catch bottle. A drip mat is also included for heavy cleaning sessions, helping to catch any excess drips from the chain.
The kit comes equipped with a specialized Crud Brush, designed to remove debris and grime during the chain cleaning process.
