The Yoruba people of Nigeria have the highest rate for twin births, about 4.5%. Twins are believed to possess special powers and share a single soul. Good fortune is thought to come to those who honor them. The Ibeji figure was created to honor a deceased Twin or set of Twins. If one child dies, a single sculpture is made and cared for by the Mother, then eventually, the surviving Twin. If both children die, then two identical sculptures are made. The figures are cared for as if they are living since it is believed that their spirit resides inside the figure itself. Regular washings and offering of food is necessary. Some figures are adorned with beads and jewelry by their Mother in reflection of her love and affection.

Our Go-To Pull-Ups for Potty Training

We’ve tried a few different brands during potty training, and we always come back to Pull-Ups. They fit my daughter really well, are easy for her to pull up and down on her own, and hold up great overnight without leaking.
The sides tear easily for quick changes, which is super helpful when you’re out and about. The designs are also cute and helped make potty training a little more exciting for my toddler. Definitely a staple in our house during this stage!

Luvs pulls up are the best

I love this brand. It’s very secure, and the adjustable band makes it easy to tighten without taking off my child’s pants. It doesn’t leave an odor, the texture is smooth, and my child is always comfortable. The price matches the quality, and there’s no leakage or spillover. Overall, it’s very durable. Make sure to have it correctly fastened because the Velcro can leave scratches on child skin.

They prevent leaks, and fit great!
We have always used Huggies diapers for our babies and young toddlers because they were the only ones that never leaked or caused a rash. My second daughter was fully potty trained at 2.5 years old and never needed pull-ups. However, our third daughter, who also trained at 2.5 years old, digressed with her nighttime potty training due to instability - we moved twice within the first 6 weeks after she potty trained. So we had to get pull-ups for her to wear at night. Obviously since we loved Huggies diapers, we tried Huggies Pull-Ups, and again, they did not disappoint! They never leak, even on nights when she doesn't get up to go at all, and has lots of pee, and they have never caused a rash either, no matter how full. She's been using them for 1.5 years, at night, and we have never had any issues. They are dependable: decently comfortable to the child, do not cause rashes, fit properly with the ability to adjust at the thigh (if needed), and they prevent leaks! I highly recommend them!
