At the race circuit, high level of friction can be achieved along with high stability for an extended amount of time with the heat treatment. _x000D_ The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading. | Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor, the above package we have shipped in. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. It's a good look.

Very nice watch. I was complemented twice in 3 days. It fits well, looks great. I'm trying to look at screens less and teach my kids how to tell time on an analog clock face. 4 stars because, while the strap on the outside looks like it's a nylon/fabric wrist band, the inside is leather. My wrist has gotten pretty sweaty as a result. And there is a VERY audible 'tick' involved with this watch. I'm a contractor and have moderate hearing loss, but I've noticed the tick when I'm sitting quietly in my living room. If a ticking clock drives you nuts, I would not recommend. Most of the time, I am in a locale so noisy, it doesn't matter. They want a jeweler to change the battery, which, as a guy who fixes stuff, I don't love, but I've got some time before I think about that. No pun intended. I'm happy with this purchase. Good for the jobsite or a hot date with my wife.

Most Dependable and Accurate Watch I Have Ever Owned

I bought this watch in August 2022. It is now January 2026. I have worn it almost every day and every night. I mow my yard with it on, wear it for funerals and weddings but always take it off when taking a shower. I have owned many watches in my 77 years including a Rolex but will say this is the finest and most accurate watch I have ever owned. It is not fancy nor flashy but dependable and keeps PERFECT time. It is a timex and I am proud to wear it. My only recommendation is they enlarge the window showing the calendar day and wish they would include the day of the year. Thank you. A+
