Isaiah 61:1
John 10:1-30
Psalm 34:18
In this painting three sheephead are hovering around a center pylon. All three fish are facing the viewer. Thus, making the viewer one of the focal points in the piece. The focal point has a duality because although the fish are directed toward the viewer they are also hovering around the pylon. The pylon however points upward to yet another unseen center of attention, creating a bridge between two unpainted, unseen main subjects - you, the viewer, and that which is above. The painting fills in the rest of the story.
So why did I choose sheephead around a pylon?
Sheephead in their natural environment hover around pylons for their food source. While sheephead are fish in the Ocean we read from the Bible references to the sheep we see on land. Did you know the stories of the Bible equate us, God's people, to sheep. Time and time again it reminds us of the importance of listening to our shepherd.
Jesus is our good shepherd!
So what is the message hidden in the painting? The prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 61:1 points again to a coming Messiah. He speaks for the Messiah and says that He will come to heal the broken-hearted. Again in Psalm 34:18 we read that the Lord is close to the broken-hearted. To illustrate this I included broken rocks in the foreground. Beyond the brokenness there is a clear but narrow path leading to the single post.
In the illustration of the sheep and the shepherd, it paints a beautiful picture of the relationship of love, care and dependency. As a young man I could relate to a certain point because my family raised sheep. I would be on our family ranch in New Mexico and as a kid I loved to go out with Joe the family ranch hand and call the sheep in for the night. They would never listen to me but they HEARD the voice of Joe and knew he was their good shepherd. As an act of obedience the sheep in a single file entered through the gate to safety be inside the pen for the night. I always took that for granted as a child. Because of my childhood experience and my adult relationship with Jesus, the good shepherd, I, too, know His voice and better understand the illustration in John 10. Jesus came to give sight to the blind, to heal the broken-hearted. He came to give life in exchange for His own. It is offered to all who hear His voice. When those that are broken-hearted hear the message of hope and listen to their shepherds voice and follow Him in an act of loving obedience, only then can one be HEARD, rescued, healed and yes, counted too.
As in the painting, the sheephead are in their natural habitat feeding on the pylon. We as God's people are in our natural habitat when we stay close to our center post - the cross. There is no other way to be fed spiritually. One God. One Son, Jesus. One Holy Spirit.
Have you HEARD the good Shepherds voice?

Smells Like You Have Your Life Together
Scent: Bergamot, Size: 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Cremo Body Wash with Italian Bergamot, Neroli Blossom, and Fresh Vetiver smells far more expensive than it has any right to. The scent hits that sweet spot between fresh and refined. The bergamot gives it a clean citrus lift, the neroli adds a smooth floral edge, and the vetiver grounds it with a subtle, masculine depth that does not scream but absolutely speaks.
The lather is rich and concentrated, so you only need a small amount. It feels more like something you would find in a boutique hotel than on a regular store shelf. The fragrance lingers just enough to be noticed without overpowering your cologne or filling the entire room.
If you want to step out of the shower smelling like competence and quiet confidence, this one delivers. It is polished without trying too hard, and it makes everyday showers feel slightly upgraded.

For dry pits, this is it!
Style: Casked Vanilla, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This stuff works great. I used to use the Dove Men+ but they changed the formula and it did not work as well for me
This formula (aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex gly) works phenomenally keeping the under arms dry and the Casked Vanilla is a nice, long lasting scent. Easily lasts all day and still smells fresh after 36-ish hours. I have not experienced any irritation. Glad I found this product!

Strong scent, strong protection
Style: Italian Bergamot, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Cremo Deodorant for Men with the 48‑hour sweat and odor protection, and it does a genuinely good job of keeping me dry and fresh through a normal workday and into the evening. The formula goes on smoothly without tugging, feels comfortable on the skin, and I haven’t noticed irritation or marks on my shirts, which is a big plus if you wear darker colors. The scent is classic Cremo: richer and more layered than a typical drugstore stick, so you get a more “cologne‑like” vibe rather than a basic soapy smell.
In terms of performance, it holds up really well for office, errands, and casual activity, and you only really start to notice it fading after a long, hot day or heavier workouts. If you run very hot or do intense outdoor work, you might want to reapply or pair it with a body spray, but for most day‑to‑day situations the protection is more than enough. Overall, if you like bolder, sophisticated scents and want something that feels a step up from basic antiperspirants without complicating your routine, this stick is easy to recommend.

Smells Incredible and Actually Works!
Style: Palo Santo, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
’ve tried a lot of men’s deodorants over the years, but this one from Cremo — Palo Santo Antiperspirant & Deodorant — really stands out. The scent is next-level: smooth, woodsy, and just a little bit exotic without being overpowering. It smells high-end, almost like a cologne you’d pay good money for.
Performance-wise, it absolutely delivers. I stay dry and fresh all day, even through long work hours and workouts. The 48-hour protection claim actually holds up — I’ve gone a full day and into the next morning without any trace of odor or stickiness.
It also goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave white marks on dark shirts, and doesn’t have that waxy or powdery feel some antiperspirants do. The packaging feels premium too, which fits the Cremo brand.
Bottom line: If you want a deodorant that smells incredible and actually performs like it says it will, this one’s worth every penny. Palo Santo is now my go-to scent — masculine, clean, and unique.

Pleasant scent, decent protection, fades by evening
Style: Vintage Suede, Size: 2.65 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The Vintage Suede scent is pleasant and professional - not overpowering. Provides decent odor protection through most of the workday, though I've noticed it starts to fade after about 6-7 hours during long shifts at the dealership. The 48-hour claim seems optimistic. Goes on smooth without leaving white residue on dark shirts, which is appreciated. For the price point, it's a solid everyday deodorant. Works well enough for office environment but might need reapplication for very active days or hot weather. Good value but not exceptional performance.
