This is not a sticker on top of your paint. It is real paint protection film with color built in, so the same layer that makes your car look custom is the layer taking the rock chips and swirl marks for you.
Underneath the gold finish sits a 7.5 mil (330um) TPU film built from three layers, with a self-healing cashew topcoat that erases light scratches on its own with a little heat. You get a fresh new color and a shield over your factory paint at the same time. When you are ready for a change, it comes off clean and leaves the paint it was guarding in the same shape it started.
