The Forest Sofa is beautifully designed to capture the essence of its name in a coordinated green palette with loose velvet cushions for extra comfort. The gold legs add a touch of luxury.
Forest 3-seat sofa with plush green velvet by Marcantonio, is a comfortable three-seat sofa with an array of cushions in a variety of green velvets. For his debut creations, Marcantonio introduced “Vegetal Animal”, a concept that evokes strong emotions to represent Nature. What only began as an exclusive chair, turned into sculptural wonders that include everything from cabinets, chairs, and sofas to rugs and lamps. The furniture borders on caricatures of animal and plant forms with solid glossy colors but he suggests an “elegant irony” with the use of brass, suede, premium wool, a chic color palette, and meticulous inlay work. A collection with mystery, humor, originality and functionality at the heart of each creation.
Care: Vaccuum clean when required.

After attending the Academy of Fine Arts, Marcantonio started creating unique design led pieces, enriching them with artistic concepts. His collection is a connection between Man and Nature, interpreting both the dynamics and beauty of them. "I never give up irony; irony is a serious matter. If a good idea is even fun, I cannot resist to realise it".
ABOUT SCARLET SPLENDOUR
Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia founded Scarlet Splendour in 2014. The siblings grew up in Kolkata, India with a deep sense of appreciation for the aesthetic. They combined their mutual passion for design to form Scarlet Splendour, with a view to integrate their maximalist sensibilities and become, possibly, the first design editors in India. Scarlet Splendour collaborates with the finest international designers. Together we create a wide range of luxury furniture collections that go beyond ordinary imagination and design limitations to become a work of art on its own.
