| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Fast and easy but I dont trust the process to be fully automated.
The process was very smooth and fairly quick. The only challenge I had was that the CLAIM status showed complete but I had to manually go look up the status. There was no email or notification it was closed. After manually checking the status, I called customer support and they said since I called in, they would process the payout. I wonder if I didnt call in if they would have processed it? Also, the phone rep said they would issue me a amazon egift card but then the next day I received a email saying they mailed out the payout. Very poor communication but so far the process was easy and fast.

Don't waste your time. They'll just deny claim
Not a very reliable form of insurance. I had to file a claim on a 2 month old bedframe and they gave me the run around until I contacted Amazon.

No hassle to file and get a claim resolved.
I have to say, I expected a lot of hoops to jump through. Companies are all very eager to take your money, but when it comes time to pay out, in this case (Product Insurance) quite often it is a different story. But to my surprise that is not the case with Asurion. I submited my claim, and a few days latter I received my check. At 77 and retired from the computer field i have seen alot of things with companies that do not care about customer service and satisfaction. But when you make a purchase from Amazon with their 30 day return policy and Asurion insurance. You can't beat it.
