Details: The SxS Refrigerator Water Filter Housing is a high-quality white plastic part that surrounds and protects the appliance’s water filter, connecting the water lines to the filter. To access the part, unscrew the water filter counterclockwise and remove it. Then, slide off the old cover. Hook the new cover onto each hinge pin, and reinstall the filter by turning it clockwise. Replacing this part requires basic hand tools such as a multi-screwdriver, some refrigerator disassembly, and intermediate repair experience. Before installing this high-quality and easy-to-install replacement part, remember to unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker to ensure safety.
